How to control emotion is always the tough question to be solved. When people are angry, it is easy for them to lose control and speak ill words to others, even to the ones that they love. Impulse brings endless regret. When they clear their minds, they feel so sorry to bring hurt to the ones they love.
Friendship and family love are under threatened. For the one who is a moody person, he may lose them both. It is not a wise choice to release emotion when we are angry. The better choice is to walk away and keep silent, no matter how much we want to shout at others, cause we will be regretful for what we say. When we calm down, the problem seems not that serious.
We feel lucky not to do the impulsive behavior.

As a child, I am very looking forward to growing up, so that I can be independent and move out, doing whatever I want. I get tired of my mother’s babble. When I am playing computer games, she will ask me to help her with the house work or she will ask me to go to sleep more than 11 o’clock.
If I refuse, her anger makes me feel scared. How nice it will be if I just sleep all the day and doing nothing at all. But after watching a movie, I realized my bad idea. In the movie, the boy got angry with her mother and went out of the house. He hanged around the street. When it was dark, he missed his mother’s food, the comfortable house, even her mother’s babble.

Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my parents. I have three roommates, at the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the same room, but now we have got used to it. One of my roommates impresses me so much, since she comes to our room, she keeps the habit of reading the novel when we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to read it because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy that she is out of control, it seems that she is free. But I feel sorry for her, because she is short-sighted now, what’s more, she is lagging behind other students in the study. Staying away from her parents, she is not strong enough to behave herself. We should have the strong will and behave ourselves.

The first time I stepped into the swimming pool was the summer vacation of 2001. My parents urged me to participate in a swimming class instead of playing table tennis all day long with my friends. ‘I can never stay in water,’ I opposed. ‘You know that time I almost drowned in the basin when washing my face.’
I sought for ads in newspapers and eventually discovered one swimming club recruiting swimming learners, and I enrolled. Sitting on the edge of the pool, I looked around: the teaching site was divided into three areas---a shallow pool no deeper than 1 meter, a medium one to the depth of 1.5 meters and deepwater area of 2 meters in depth. ‘Greetings, my friends.’ our coach said, a twenty-year-old man of medium stature. ‘You’ll be starting from this second to learn how to survive in another realm (We smiled). We have a criterion here: no shrinking back. All right, before you are bold enough to jump from a cliff into the sea, let’s make it from the ABCs. Today we’ll learn how to float.’
Well, I learned to float, I learned to hold my breath in water (It’s wonderful. I’ll never worry about drowning in my basin), I learned to control and adjust my direction in water and I mastered the fundamental skills to advance and recede in water. “Terrific, Wanli.” the coach clapped me on my shoulder and said, “Why not try the deepwater?” ‘I will, sir.’ I replied.
The class moved to the deepest area and queued in a line. We bumped into the water in turn until my feet paused at the rim of the pool: fear attacked me and made me dizzy when I witnessed the pool as deep as an abyss in my eyes.
‘Go ahead, go!’ the coach exclaimed.
I just couldn’t move. My nerve was frozen at the thought of drowning here instead of in my basin.
Suddenly the coach gave me a push on my back and I lost my balance on the humid floor of the gym and fell into the deepwater area. In the first few seconds I felt that my end had arrived, but upon the danger my mind was unusually sober. Swiftly I applied the skills I learned to reach the other side of the pool, and when I finally placed my hands onto the edge, I saw the coach’s satisfactory smile.
I told this experience to my father. Dad put down his newspaper and said, ‘I have said that you would benefit from it. Maybe you should give your gratitude to your coach, as he has taught you not to flinch in the face of challenges.’

It is really hard to say which is better than the other, city life or rural life, because each has its merits and shortcomings.
Living in a city, people have certain advantages. First, people enjoy various entertainments, both foreign and domestic. Second, there are more cultural activities in a city. Third, city dwellers gain acceto better information service and educational facilities. However, problems exist. The overcrowded population, traffic jam, housing problem, industrial pollution and other issues may result in depression, nervousneand diseases. laving in the country, people can enjoy living in pure nature. They lead a si-mp-le and trouble free life. But rural life may not be that perfect. People usually lack cultural activities. They are relatively ill informed . Things go fairly slowly there. And people misome golden opportunities of ma-ki-ng a fortune. The chances of their children being admitted to colleges are slim.
Obviously, whatever life they lead, people can never feel perfectly satisfied, for conveniences and inconveniences always coexist. People wish that they could enjoy the pleasures of both lives. With the rapid economic development, nowadays city dwellers can relax themselves in the country during vacation; and country people have chance to experience city lifestyle when they come to cities.
Life in the city is very different from life in the villages and on the farms. People in large cities are much more careful to respect the privacy of the individual. Sometimes this feeling seems to be one of indifference, but it is a convention of city life to curb one's curiosity about the personal affairs of strangers. Villagers and farmers are likely to show a great deal of interest in all their neighbors. Opportunities for bright young people are greater in the cities and there has been a steady stream of hopeful jobseekers from the villages and farms to the large metropolitan areas.

This week I didn't do many wonderful things.
I went to learn developing film with my classmates on July 1st. It was easy and we all got good marks.
On July 4th, I went to school to learn, because I will be a junior three student soon. We would have to learn some lessons in advance. The weather was very hot. But I didn't feel that learning lessons was boring. Some teachers are new. They are good I think, although they are all looked strict. And the lessons were not too bad.
This week was the beginning of this summer holiday, but it was really typical.
